Are You Ready?

Network security breaches or other significant incidents are inevitable.  Most system administrators vigorously pursue suspected breaches without first preserving volatile evidence. This one-hour lecture discusses a prioritized response to ALL computer security incidents to avoid tainting evidence when "The Big One" actually happens.

Keeping our Kids Safe on the Internet

This one-hour lecture informs the audience of some of the most serious issues that could adversely affect teens and pre-teens. Sexual predators, cyber-bullying, sexting, and file sharing are discussed.

Complying with Data Protection Requirements

This one-hour lecture is relevant for any business or entity that has mandated privacy requirements. HIPAA, FERPA, GLB, or any internal requirements are discussed as it applies. The audience is informed on the ways their personal computer habits can inadvertently compromise the data they are tasked to protect. Password issues, vulnerabilities encountered when using public access points, and social networking use are just a few of the topics discussed.

Testimonials

"David provided valued insights at our professional development conference. His real-world experience and rich knowledge of network security, leaving on-line footprints, information and password protection, hackers, and safe e-commerce were extremely valuable to our staff.  We want to protect our children from unknowingly damaging their reputations in the long-term and putting themselves at risk on-line.  David's forensic experience and real world provided some real "aha's" (as well as "oh no's!")  from our attendees."
